We participate in the early spay/neuter program. We require the cat
be kept indoors only. Your kitten will come with all its first
vaccinations. The vaccines used are the "CORE" vaccinations
recommended by the American Association of Feline Practitioners and
the Academy of Feline Medicine (AAFP/AFM). We want our kittens to
have the safest and longest life possible.
We will ship if necessary but prefer not to if at all possible. Buyer will
pay all shipping costs. Shipping costs vary depending on the shipping
method and the price of the airline ticket. The most used airlines are
AA or Delta. However - Continental, Northwest, and American West
do take pets. Southwestern Airlines will not fly pets anywhere,
anytime.
If you plan to declaw your cat please talk to your veterinarian first.
Declawing may seem like a simple thing to do but it is not. It is actually
comparable to removing the last digits of your fingers. Training your
cat to use a few well placed scratching posts, and lots of praise and
patience is the answer. Feliway Feline Behavior Modification Spray is
used to naturally control urine marking and scratching, calm cats in
transport, and reduce stress in cats.
If you are interested in a kitten, please email us early. A deposit is
needed to hold your kitten. Kittens are released to their new homes
around 10-12 weeks of age. Research shows that a kitten's
socialization skills are developed between 8 and 12 weeks of age. A
gradual transition from the strong maternal bond to the social world
of playing with its siblings is ideal. We do everything in our power to
provide you with a healthy, friendly, loving kitten. Then you take over
with lots of love, and you have a wonderful beautiful new addition to
your family that I'm sure you will cherish.
My cats/kittens are never caged or kept out of doors. All kittens come
with a health certificate and first shots.
